Born in Detroit but raised in Georgia, Gahs Owendek is accustomed to feeling out of his element. In most cases this can be a negative experience, but Gahs uses it to his advantage and pours that into his music. He started producing at the age of 14 due to his obsession with the new trap sound coming out of Atlanta at the time. Eventually soul, punk, and techno made its way into his source of influence, taking him in a new direction. Gahs has developed an eclectic palette for sounds and textures which create boundless possibilities. There are no genre restrictions or desire to fit in a specific mode. His wish is simply to make tracks which people can gyrate to.
